Eighteen-year-old Emma Burkey develops blood clots requiring three brain surgeries a week after receiving Johnson & Johnson’s Covid vaccine. Dr. Gregory Michael, 56, a healthy Miami obstetrician with no previous co-morbidities dies of a hemorrhagic stroke after receiving the Pfizer/BioNtech vaccine. Virginia Ellington, 63, an otherwise perfectly healthy North Carolina college professor, dies of a stroke just 48 hours after receiving the Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine. In a small British Columbia community, a doctor raises the alarm after three of his patients are disabled after receiving the Moderna vaccine and one dies three weeks after receiving the injection.
Meanwhile Twitter users are being invited to post their “vaccination selfies,” as usual without one word of caution about these trial phase, experimental drugs, which many scientists have explained do not meet the clinical definition of a vaccine. They are more accurately referred to as “gene therapies” that use an unproven mRNA technology. According to vaccine manufacturers these “vaccines” are in trial phase until 2023. Because of their trial status, they are licensed under a special dispensation known in the US as an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), with a similar arrangement in Canada. From a legal standpoint, no trial phase drug of any kind can be mandated. Normally, clinical trials are conducted in closed, carefully controlled environments, with a placebo group, volunteers who are usually paid to participate, and double-blind trials. The mass rollout into the public of these “vaccines” is unprecedented for any drug in a trial phase.
Anyone offering their arm should know that they are volunteering to be part of the largest medical experiment in human history. The Nuremberg Code requires that medical practitioners obtain fully informed consent from every patient who agrees to accept any experimental medical treatment. That means they must be informed of all known potential adverse reactions to date and must consent to the risk. Further, a physician’s Hippocratic Oath requires that they “first do no harm.” It is a duty for doctors to inform themselves and their patients of the known risks for this or any other treatment. Following this principle, it is also unprecedented for a drug trial with such a high rate of adverse reactions to not be stopped immediately. (See statistics below.)
Worst of all, the risks you take when enrolling in this Covid “vaccine” trial are all your own. If you are injured or disabled as a result of an adverse reaction, your health insurance likely won’t cover you. “Contrary to popular perception,” explains the website Money Control, “existing health insurance policies are unlikely to cover the cost of vaccination and adverse reactions, if any. Only policies designed purely for the Covid-19 vaccination process—there is none at the moment—will cover the costs.” Hospitalization due to adverse reactions to Covid-19 vaccines may be covered, but this will likely vary by country, state and province depending on health insurance policies. In the US, vaccine manufacturers bear zero liability for adverse reactions, leaving the injured to seek compensation in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. This separate court system was established in 1988 in response to high numbers of adverse reactions to the DTP (now DTaP) vaccine. Only a small fraction of cases have made their way into this court and according to the VICP’s own infographic, only 5,403 cases have resulted in settlements between 2006 and 2018. Of the 23,993 petitions filed with the court since its inception in 1988, only 7,948 were offered compensation, totalling $4.3 billion. Lawyer Hunter Shkolnik says vaccine courts and compensation programs amount to a “get out of jail free card” for Big Pharma.
“Americans who suffer adverse reactions to coronavirus vaccines that the US is racing to develop will have a hard time getting compensated for injuries from the drugs,” reports Bloomberg Law. “That’s because pandemic-related claims for vaccines will be routed to a rarely used federal program set up to encourage drugmakers to help combat public health emergencies. It spares pharmaceutical and device makers from costly liability lawsuits in exchange for taxpayers compensating injured patients—though it doesn’t guarantee there’s funding to do so. Since it began in 2009, the program has paid out less than $6 million, and it has yet to receive any dedicated US government funding for Covid-19.” Patient advocates say compensation requests for Covid vaccine injuries should instead go through the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Richard Topping, a former Justice Department attorney, predicts that, at very least “this is going to be a big deal,” and at worst, “a crisis.”
In Canada, the federal government established a “pan-Canadian Vaccine Injury Support Program” that was announced—curiously—on the eve of Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine rollouts in December 2020. Despite the government’s dubious claim that “Serious adverse reactions to vaccines are extremely rare. They happen less than one time in a million,” the timing of this program seems highly suspicious. Even with incomplete reporting of adverse reactions to Covid “vaccines,” the one in a million rate is proving a falsehood, especially if one takes into consideration that on average, only 1% of adverse reactions are actually reported. The Canadian government so far has provided no details as to possible compensation for injuries, although the program covers all Health Canada approved “vaccines.” But given the dismal statistics from the comparable US system of compensation, Canadians may be little better off. As the Biblical proverb aptly says, “The sensible man seeks advice from the wise, he drinks it in and increases his knowledge,” and is thus protected from dangerous experimental drugs.
US adverse reaction statistics
As of April 2nd, the total number of reported adverse reactions to Covid “vaccines” (actually an experimental gene therapy) in the U.S. surpassed 50,000, with 2,249 deaths and 7,726 serious injuries between December 14, 2020 and March 26, 2021. Keep in mind that their Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) is only voluntary and is thus estimated to only capture 1% of all such adverse events. That suggests these numbers could be low by two orders of magnitude, meaning that American adverse reactions to Covid vaccines could be as high as 5 million, and deaths as high as 224,900. (Admittedly this is speculation given that complete data is unavailable.) Johnson and Johnson claims to report all adverse events while still insisting there’s no relationship between its “vaccine” and subsequent reactions.
“According to the latest figures derived from the European Medicines Agency’s database of Covid-19 vaccine adverse reactions, 162,610 injurious events and 3,964 deaths have now been reported. Among the three major vaccines approved and deployed in Europe, Pfizer-Biontech’s vaccine accounts for over two-thirds of reported injuries and mortalities, or 102,100 and 2,540 events respectively. …AstraZeneca’s adenovirus vaccine is particularly worrisome. It has been less than two months since its administration in the EU commenced; already there have been over 54,000 injuries and 451 deaths registered. Consequently, many European nations, which are more committed to protecting their citizens than increasing pharmaceutical profits, have placed moratoriums on administering AZ’s Covid vaccine. In the UK, over 114,000 adverse reactions from AZ’s product or 4.6 reactions per 1,000 recipients has been reported.”
Authors Richard Gale and Dr. Gary Null note that this is disturbing because “the EU has a far more robust and accurate vaccine injury reporting system in place” than the US. (See first paragraph.) “Since December 14, 2020, the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has only reported 44,606 adverse events and 2,050 deaths—a small fraction compared to Europe and where the average European citizen is generally healthier and where far less doses have been administered.” (Note more up-to-date figures quoted above.)
Canada’s adverse events reporting system is little better than the American VAERS system. It only reports a total of 3,444 adverse events reported following vaccinations totalling 7.5 million, with 464 considered serious. This smacks of serious under-reporting when compared with the European or even the American figures. Dr. Charles D. Hoffe, a physician in Lytton, BC, stated in an interview that the reporting forms for each patient experiencing an adverse reaction are nine pages long, a considerable investment of time for busy doctors. Thus virtually guarantees a low rate of reporting, since most doctors are paid for patients seen, not for paperwork. As Dr. Hoffe stated in his Open Letter to Bonnie Henry: “I have also noticed that these vaccine induced side effects are going almost entirely unreported by those responsible for the vaccine rollout. …this issue should be addressed too.”
Just in his small community, of 900 people vaccinated, Dr. Hoffe has reported “one person dead, and three people who look as though they will be permanently disabled following their first dose of the Moderna vaccine. The age of those affected ranges from 38 to 82 years of age.” If the rate of adverse reactions in a community of under a thousand people is 1 in 225 as Dr. Hoffe reports, then how is it possible that the Canadian government statistics are providing an accurate record of Covid vaccine safety?
In Part 2 of this article, I provide nine examples out of the thousands so far reported of people injured, disabled or killed by these experimental drugs. Some of this is hard reading. But their stories must not go unreported, and stand as a warning to us all.
